Event Description:
Bracket, stitch and hack time. When more than one photo is required, this session comes into play.
You will learn how to create both breathtaking surrealistic and mouth watering realistic photographs. Learn what they didn't tell you about HDR. I'm sure you have seen stunning HDR (High Dynamic Range) Photos. Perhaps you love the surreal look, or you want to apply HDR for a very realistic look. Dynamic Range is what allows you to see crisp detail in your photos in both shadows and highlight, making for strong, highly detailed photographs. In this session Colin will kill some common myths about HDR and show you how you can easily create this new type of Photograph for yourself. You will learn Colin's simple 3-step process of shooting, merging and tone mapping.
We will also look into the world of Panoramic Photography. How to correctly shoot and stitch a sweeping panorama. You will learn about equipment and technique to shoot 180 and 360 degree panoramas as well as different projection types and putting it together with Lightroom and Photoshop.
Time-lapse photography is when a number of photos are taken at preset intervals and then put together into a video. Minutes or hours of activity are condensed into visual stunning seconds of playback. The entire workflow can be accomplished in Photoshop. Learn how.
