Novak is originally from Baltimore, MD but considers himself a Southern California based portrait photographer, which includes fashion, commercial, and advertising. He tries to bring an element of every genre of photography into his work and is inspired by his passion to create and capture amazing images for himself and for his clients. Novak's work has been publish by the New York Times, CNN, Nik Software, Phottix, Expo Imaging, Glamoholic, Fashion 5.0, as well as other publications. He makes an effort to give back to the community by working with non-profit groups, such as Help Portrait, International Rescue Committee, Reality Rally as well as those he has set up himself.
